Establishing an Oncology Infusion Program for Home and Ambulatory Sites of Service

Describe your session in a tweet.

Come find me at the roundtable sessions where we'll set the framework for your organization to provide infusion of biologic therapies in the home and ambulatory setting.

What is the most important thing you want attendees to take away from your session?

My mission is to provide attendees with the tools they need to build a safe and financially viable oncology infusion program for biologic therapies.

Excluding your session, what other topics are you passionate about in relation to the home and alternate site industry?

I am passionate about expanding access to biologic drugs in the home setting, This initiative needs to be led by pharmacy experts and expertly trained nursing staff. I am also fueled by integration between disciplines and enjoy watching the progress that manifests when interdisciplinary teams collaborate.

What are you passionate about outside the home and alternate site infusion industry?

My goals have always surrounded living simply, and I've been successful in carving out a little slice of heaven in the country about an hour from DFW, where I enjoy yard work, gardening, cooking, and raising chickens. More travel is on the horizon as time goes on, and my husband and I hope to camp in many National Parks over the next decade or so.

What is your superpower?

My superpower could best be described as extreme intuition. Some may describe this trait as sensitivity, but I am able to sense emotional undercurrents that most people cannot. This gives me an edge when dealing with team structure, defusing employee conflict, and patient interactions.

What additional superpower would you like to have and why?

If we're talking true superpowers, I'd like the ability to fly. I'm not talking mere flitting about; soaring birds of prey fascinate me.
