Hospital at Home a Year Later: Lessons Learned

Describe your session in a tweet.

Hospital at Home Lessons Learned from a Large Integrated Health System! Join me as we discuss lessons learned from the last year of Hospital at Home services provided across the state of Utah and to over 1,000 patients.

What is the most important thing you want attendees to take away from your session?

Hospital at Home is still a work in progress but will be so great for patients when we figure it all out!

Excluding your session, what other topics are you passionate about in relation to the home and alternate site industry?

I am passionate about moving care to the home that drives down global healthcare cost. So much in the hospitals is waiting. I would rather wait at home!

What are you passionate about outside the home and alternate site infusion industry?

I am passionate about physical and mental wellness. We should all be working towards better physical and mental wellness in this crazy world. Healthcare is hard and mentally challenging at times. Taking time out to breath is important! I also love to cook and bake.

What is your superpower?

Creative cooking (without a recipe) is my superpower!

What additional superpower would you like to have and why?

Promoting the profession of pharmacy outside of retail and hospital. There is a whole side of pharmacy most have never explored.
