COVID-19 Policy
NHIA is committed to holding a safe event and meeting all federal, state, and local rules and regulations.
NHIA recommends the following for all those in attendance:
- Get your COVID-19 vaccination and/or booster shot.
- Test for COVID-19 before leaving for the event.
- DO NOT ATTEND the event if you are feeling ill (even if you test negative for COVID-19)
To protect your fellow attendees and travelers, please stay home if you are feeling sick. All sessions will be recorded and available after the conference for those who are unable to attend for any reason.
NHIA is continuing to monitor all relevant rules, regulations and the latest recommendations and this policy is subject to change.
Registrants will also be asked to sign off on the following liability waiver:

I understand that travel and gathering involves risk of sickness, including sickness from COVID-19. I waive and release NHIA and their employees and agents, from and against claims, liabilities, and expenses arising from injury, sickness, or death from contraction or spread of COVID-19 or other communicable disease due to travel to or attendance at the NHIA Annual Conference.

I understand it is my responsibility to determine whether to undertake common recommended precautions at the meeting including, but not limited to: taking a COVID-19 test prior to travel, wearing a mask in public areas, or maintaining distance from others.

I agree that if I develop any of the symptoms of COVID 19 (including but not limited to fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headaches, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion, runny nose, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea) at any time during the NHIA Annual Conference, I will return to my hotel room immediately and notify an NHIA team member via email (info@nhia.org).
