This presentation will discuss how to overcome the challenges associated with training both pharmacy and non-pharmacy cleaning personnel, explain how to build a training program that will result in a competent cleaning team, and include a review of an actual training program, highlighting critical elements.
What is the most important thing you want attendees to take away from your session?
A list of criteria to include in a training program and things to consider when designing a training program for non-pharmacy personnel.
Describe your first professional speaking experience?
I have participated in many presentations in smaller roles including Simplifi 797 webinar, Kaiser Permanente organizational conferences, and NHIA roundtable discussions. This talk will be my first larger professional speaking experience and I am humbled and excited to partner with seasoned veteran Abby Roth on this topic.
Excluding your session, what other topics are you passionate about in relation to the home and alternate site industry?
Advanced care at home programs, IV room technology, sterile compounding best practices.
If you could add a word to the dictionary, what would you add and what would it mean?
While 'Pickler' exists in the Webster's dictionary, I would add a new definition to include "one obsessed with playing pickleball".
