Topic Description : The Site Reaction GradeScale (SiRG) has been designed to provide a common ground for the patient, the nurse, and the specialty pharmacist to communicate effectively. Although subcutaneous infusions are on the rise for many drugs, real world data shows that patients on subcutaneous immunoglobulin still experience site reactions to various degrees despite training and optimization of ancillary supplies. Defining the level of site reaction allows the patient and caregiver(s) to respond appropriately and reduce the damage and pain caused, increasing compliance, satisfaction, and overall health.
