Adina Hirsch

Adina is a senior medical science liaison for clinical nutrition at Fresenius Kabi for the Northeast. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Mercer University and completed an ASHP accredited PGY-1 residency program with a focus on nutrition support at Atlanta Medical Center in Atlanta, Georgia in 2007 and received board certification as a nutrition support pharmacist in 2013. Adina served as a clinical specialist in the areas of nutrition support and critical care at Saint Joseph’s Hospital of Atlanta from 2007 – 2012, serving as an adjunct faculty member and guest lecturer at Mercer University. She transitioned to academia in 2012 and was an assistant professor of pharmacy practice at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine until 2015 when she joined Fresenius Kabi medical affairs as a medical science liaison. Adina currently serves as Newsletter Co-Editor and is a past-president of the Georgia Chapter of ASPEN (GASPEN) and as the pharmacy liaison for the Maryland chapter of ASPEN (MSPEN) and serves on the Georgia Society of Health-System Pharmacists (GSHP) Education Committee. She also serves as the chair of the Membership engagement subcommittee of Pharmacy Practice Section of ASPEN. Adina has authored multiple articles and book chapters on nutrition support including a Critical Care Nursing Handbook and Pharmacotherapy First.
