Possessing a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Biotechnology, I, Matthew Zeltner, graduated from the University of Kentucky in May 2017. Currently serving as a Pharmacy Quality & Compliance Specialist at the University of Kentucky’s Specialty Pharmacy and Infusion Services, I am responsible for the management and implementation of the specialty pharmacy’s Quality Management Plan, encompassing pharmacy metrics, standard operating procedures, and supporting policies. In this capacity, I have established innovative solutions to enhance data utilization. I am proficient in various data management tools, am able to create compelling data visualizations and reports that contribute to informed decision-making amongst leadership. An engaged member of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists since November 2018, I currently serve on the ASHP Section of Specialty Pharmacy Practitioners: Outcomes and Value Section Advisory Group. As a licensed and certified National Pharmacy Technician, with a keen eye for innovation and a commitment to advancing pharmacy practices, I am poised to contribute my expertise to progressive endeavors within the pharmaceutical landscape.
