Operations Manager, Home Infusion Pharmacy

Kristen LaGrotta has served as the Operations Manager at OHSU Home Infusion Pharmacy since its inception in 2016. She successfully assembled a team and, together with the Nurse Manager, launched the service line, which has grown exponentially. She came to OHSU with over 8 years of home infusion experience, both as a clinical pharmacist and a pharmacy technician. Kristen received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at Pacific University in Hillsboro, OR. She received her Bachelor of Science, Summa Cum Laude, in Chemistry, with a Minor in Computer Science, at George Fox University in Newberg, OR. She has extensively used this background in her current position, working with the Information Technology department to maximize the use of automation and technology to improve pharmacy operations and patient care. She is passionate about meeting patients where they are, and finding creative solutions to help them receive the IV therapy they need. She has deeply instilled these values into her team, as well as a collaborative interdisciplinary spirit.
