Austin Ewing, PharmD, is a Clinical Home Infusion Pharmacist with Oregon Heatlh & Sciences University (OSHU). He has worked in a pharmacy setting since high school, and he received his PharmD from Drake University in Des Moines, IA, in 2009. Since graduation, they have had various leadership and staffing roles in home infusion, specialty pharmacy, and long term care. In their current role, he helps care for patients in a growing home infusion department and has especially enjoyed leading implementation of pharmacy workflows for long acting injectable medications for HIV Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) and HIV treatment.
