Tele-PrEP and Home Infusion: Expanding Access to Long-Acting Cabotegravir for HIV Prevention

The federal plan Ending the HIV Epidemic in the U.S. has identified pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) as a key strategy for reducing new HIV infections in the United States by 90% by 2030. In an effort to expand geographic PrEP access to both urban and rural regions in Oregon, OHSU Tele-PrEP program has partnered with OHSU home infusion. From referral to injection, we will explore key elements to implementing a real-world program and best practices for health care professional administered long-acting injectable cabotegravir (CAB-LA).
