Performance Improvement Metrics in the Ambulatory Infusion Center

Understanding and leveraging a variety of metrics in the ambulatory infusion center is essential to understand where your business currently stands and to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. This 60-minute session will review how the University of Kentucky Specialty Pharmacy and Infusion Services department has developed a Quality and Compliance team to assist with data collection. We will review the job roles within this team and how it leverages EHR to collect specific data points in the AIC, how these metrics are being utilized to identify performance improvement initiatives, and how they are being used for employee performance evaluations. Finally, the presentation will show how dashboards can be utilized for business leadership to improve business outcomes and easily manage data for accrediting bodies and reporting measures.
