All Aboard: Navigating Home Infusion Pharmacy Orientation

This program describes a comprehensive orientation program for a new home infusion pharmacy services staff. We will be sharing: best practices in taking new hires from zero to proficiency; delineation of competencies and processes for techs and pharmacists; accommodations for full time, part time, and contingents; pearls of wisdom to improve retention and assure effective and productive workforce; methods for assuring patient safety through competencies; promoting communication and consistency within the team; and bolstering confidence, proficiency and engagement of new hires.
