What is the most important thing you want attendees to take away from your session?
It’s easy to slip into autopilot mode, especially when it’s a task or routine you’ve done repeatedly every single day. There’s the saying, “Practice makes perfect,” but does it really matter that you’ve perfected the technique if you’re not actively engaged in every step of sterile compounding? Learning how to combat against this prevents compounding mistakes from occurring that could lead to potential patient (or employee) injury and/or fatality.
Excluding your session, what other topics are you passionate about in relation to the home and alternate site industry?
Pharmacy technician productivity and engagement, sterile compounding, pharmacy inventory and purchasing, and compliance.

What’s your “it’s not a big deal, but it is” hill to die on?
Water bottles need to be cleaned with dishwashing soap (or some form of soap), even if you've always filled the bottle with drinking water. Especially ones with reusable/washable straws like Stanleys and similar products.
