What is the most important thing you want attendees to take away from your session?
Attendees should have a better understanding of how the requirements for cleaning and disinfection will change in the updated version of USP and, just as importantly, the reasoning behind these updates and how they can reduce risks for patients.
Describe your first professional speaking experience?
Terrifying, but invigorating. I got through my first presentation with lots of coaching and multiple rehearsals, but felt the greatest rush from the spontaneity of the Q&A session.
Excluding your session, what other topics are you passionate about in relation to the home and alternate site industry?
Compounding and administration of novel therapeutics like cell and gene therapies. Increasing role of pharmacy to protect nurses and other healthcare workers from unintentional exposure to hazardous drugs.
