Speaker Spotlight: Judith Maggi

Judith Maggi, MSN, RN
Manager, Coram Nursing Training Operations

Describe your session in a tweet.

Compassion in infusion care isn't just about the medication-it's about how care is delivered. This session shares parent insights and practical strategies to support children with special needs and their families.

What is the most important thing you want attendees to take away from your session?

Delivering compassionate care is about small, intentional nursing actions - predictability, communication, sensory awareness and partnership with families. Effective care requires doing a few key things differently and consistently.

Excluding your session, what other topics are you passionate about in relation to the home and alternate site industry?

Patient Safety, Patient Education, Empowering nurses

If you had a paid year off work, how would you spend it?

I would spend the year building a business dedicated to partnering with parents and their children with special needs to turn their dreams and goals into action - supporting growth, independence, community inclusion and a quality of life that reflects each child's strength and dreams.

If you had a secret identity, what would your alias be and what would you be known for?

The Possibility Partner: Helping individual and families discover their strengths, navigate challenges, and achieve meaningful goals through partnership and compassion.

What’s your “it’s not a big deal, but it is” hill to die on?

Controlling everything and everything needing to be perfect. If you do your best...it's the BEST!
