Describe your session in a tweet.
The Intake Process is such an integral part of the success of the home infusion reimbursement team. This session will challenge the participants to think outside the box and ensure they have a robust intake process that is much more than simply verifying eligibility prior to accepting an infusion patient on service.
What is the most important thing you want attendees to take away from your session?
The most important thing I want attendees to take away is that the intake process is very complex and cannot be rushed. Every small detail must be captured and fully vetted for the reimbursement team to achieve their best results!
Excluding your session, what other topics are you passionate about in relation to the home and alternate site industry?
I am passionate about anything and everything related to home infusion reimbursement.
What are you passionate about outside the home and alternate site infusion industry?
I enjoy volunteering my time for those less fortunate. I LOVE to read anything and everything. I enjoy spending time at the beach regardless of the New England weather. Lastly, I enjoy riding my bike with my family. I can't walk due to my handicap, but riding my bike gives such a sense of freedom and accomplishment.
Complete the following phrase as creatively as you'd like: If _____ were an Olympic sport, I would win a gold medal.
If home infusion reimbursement knowledge were an Olympic sport, I would win a gold medal. I have spent all of my adult career (41 years) learning, mastering, and preaching home infusion reimbursement. I know more about this topic than anything else.
