What is the most important thing you want attendees to take away from your session?
How to accurately interpret fatty acid laboratory levels and understand the threshold for diagnosis of essential fatty acid deficiency in patients receiving intravenous lipid emulsions.
Describe your first professional speaking experience?
I provided a clinical education presentation to dietitians within a hospital system that was implementing a new intravenous lipid product. This was right as places began to open up during COVID so I did the entire presentation while wearing a KN-95 mask. Definitely not the easiest way to do your first presentation but was still a successful experience and learning opportunity for both myself and the attendees.
Excluding your session, what other topics are you passionate about in relation to the home and alternate site industry?
Access and reimbursement for home infusion in particular parenteral nutrition.
