Describe your session in a tweet.
Great nurse leaders do more than manage tasks - they shape strategy. This session focuses on the mindset shift from clinical, task based supervision t strategic leadership that influences outcomes across home infusion and specialty pharmacy.
What is the most important thing you want attendees to take away from your session?
That elevating from clinical excellence to strategic influence is a learnable shift - and when nurse leaders change how they think, they expand their impact, credibility, and value to their organization and profession. This translation from clinical expertise to strategic thinking drives outcomes - without losing clinical identity.
Excluding your session, what other topics are you passionate about in relation to the home and alternate site industry?
Nursing reimbursement, subcontracted vendor relationships, AI and automation in nursing technology, and clinical excellence.
If you had a paid year off work, how would you spend it?
Focusing on family time with my husband, adult children and granddaughter and building a wellness foundation that I can sustain the rest of my life. I want to age well so that I can enjoy the time I have with my family.
If you had a secret identity, what would your alias be and what would you be known for?
Captain Fix-It-All Known for: Keeping a steady hand on the helm while my brain races to fix every problem the moment it hits the radar.
What’s your “it’s not a big deal, but it is” hill to die on?
Meetings should have a purpose - if there's no clear agenda, ask, or decision to be made, it probably should have been an email.
