Kari Personius, PharmD is a Senior Clinical Pharmacist at UC Davis Health Home Infusion Pharmacy. She earned her Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Pharmacy and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California, Irvine.
Kari has over 13 years of experience in home infusion pharmacy and sterile compounding, with the majority of her focused on the home parenteral nutrition (HPN) population. In her current role at UC Davis, she is helping to launch acute discharge therapy services, beginning with the parenteral nutrition program. She brings both technical expertise and clinical insight, helping drive excellence in patient outcomes and pharmacy operations.
Previously, Kari served as a pharmacy manager, overseeing pharmacy operations, sterile compounding, and regulatory compliance. Throughout her career, she has been a strong advocate for a patient-first approach to clinical care. Her primary goal is to improve patient quality of life through safe, effective, and compassionate pharmaceutical care.
Kari is actively involved in ASPEN and NHIA and contributes through national presentations, publications, and committee participation.
