Laryssa is a certified nutrition support dietitian who began her career at Nassau University Medical Center on Long Island, NY, where her passion for nutrition support began. She believes that compassion for patients is at the heart of quality care. Laryssa has been published in Dietitians in Nutrition Support – Support Line, Nutrition in Clinical Practice, and Trauma Surgery & Acute Care Open. Laryssa has also contributed a chapter on Acute Kidney Injury in “Nutrition in Kidney Disease”. In 2018, Laryssa transitioned from acute inpatient care to home infusion, where she still practices today with Nutrishare. Laryssa’s approach is grounded in compassion for consumers.
