In my previous role I provided leadership for compounding services as a System-Wide Director for a health system comprised of 11 clean rooms and over 1,200 patient care beds. I created a centralized IV robotics program that provides batch compounded sterile preparations to areas of need within the health system and have operated the highest output site of all robots provided by the vendor in the world. I currently serve on the USP compounding expert committee, the ASHP sterile compounding guideline committee, and ASHP SAG (within SICP) for compounding practice (with past services as vice-chair and chair). I have over 14 years of sterile compounding experience comprising of 7 years as an IV pharmacy technician in addition to 7 years of leadership/management over sterile, nonsterile, and hazardous drug operations at a large health system. I am a board certified in sterile compounding pharmacist (BCSCP) through the Board of Pharmacy Specialties.
