Dr. Lillian Harvey, FACS, FASPEN, CVAA(c), VA-BC DABS is a nationally recognized expert in the field of adult nutrition support. She is a graduate of the NYU school of medicine and the Mt. Sinai surgical residency program. After serving as a trauma surgeon, she has dedicated her career to the nutritional care of patients including hundreds of parenteral nutrition patients. Since her retirement in 2019 she joined the California Medical Reserve Corp and has served as a volunteer working with San Diego Health and Human Services on the COVID-19 response along with other public health projects. Dr. Harvey is a published author on the topics of nutrition support and how to do effective on-line research. She has been intrigued by the explosion of information sites and how to develop the skills to rigorously evaluate the quality of the information presented there.
