Amish Purohit, MD, MBA, MHA, FAAFP, FACHE is a highly accomplished physician executive and business leader with over 25 years of diverse healthcare operations experience in commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, TRICARE business markets, and the practice of medicine. Presently he is serving as the President and Chief Medical Officer of Arkos Health, a tech enabled population health company. Amish has a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Public Administration from George Mason University, a Master of Health Administration (MHA) from the Pennsylvania State University, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Kellogg School of Management Northwestern University. His Doctorate of Medicine (MD) is from the SABA University School of Medicine, Netherlands- Antilles. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. He received his medical training at University Hospitals of Cleveland, where he completed his Family Medicine Residency and also served as a Chief Resident of Family Medicine followed by an Orthopedic Musculoskeletal Medicine Fellowship from the Cleveland Clinic Health System, Lutheran Orthopedic and Spine Hospital. His professional career has included the practice of medicine and has led a multitude of healthcare organizations as a CEO, CMO, and various other physician executive roles before joining Arkos Health. For his achievements and services over the years in the health care, he has been appreciated and recognized as a part of the Top 100 Healthcare Leaders Award (2019) and the Top 100 Healthcare Visionaries Award (2021) by the International Forum on Advancement in Healthcare. He also featured in the corporate magazine, CIO views, and Enterprise World as on of the top leaders and influencers in healthcare.
