What Does Site of Care Have To Do With It?

This session will provide sales and marketing professionals with an overview of why where first dose of medications administered in the alternate care is important. There are multiple clinical, payor, company, commercial, and pharmaceutical company considerations when deciding the appropriate site of care for patient treatment. The referral process includes a review of the appropriate site of care, which generally includes a review of the patient’s clinical history, medication prescribed, labeling information such as black box warnings, or handling of adverse reactions.
