This station provides hands-on training in proper cleaning and disinfection techniques for both Primary Engineering Controls (PECs) and Secondary Engineering Controls (SECs). Participants will learn the appropriate use of cleaning agents, disinfectants, and sporicidal treatments, while also reviewing best practices for maintaining a sterile environment. Emphasis will be placed on understanding the mechanisms of action of different cleaning agents, safety considerations, compliance with USP standards, and facility-specific policies for cleaning procedures.
Differentiate between various cleaning agents, disinfectants, and sporicidal disinfectants, understanding their mechanisms of action and appropriate use cases.
