From hand washing and garbing, to advanced aseptic technique, environmental monitoring, and hazardous drug compounding, the clinic will provide live action demonstrations and hands-on practice for all things sterile compounding related.

  • Learn various aseptic technique practices from vial reconstitution, elastomeric device use, automated compounding devices, and hazardous drug compounding.
  • Identify how to properly complete environmental monitoring include surface and air sampling and visualize smoke testing for air flow patterns.
  • Learn best practice techniques for cleaning and disinfecting in the clean room suite.
