Developing a Competency Program that Checks all the Boxes

Presentation will include practices to consider when developing a compliant sterile compounding competency program. It will provide examples of various user roles and associated competencies as well as factors to consider when preparing, administering, and documentation of competencies. Examples of competency processes will be reviewed for: compounders, oversight personnel, cleaners, viable sampling, incubation, non-sterile to sterile compounding, bubble point integrity testing, automated compounding devices, CSTDs, and HD PPE/ respiratory equipment.
