The healthcare landscape has and will continue to see many changes in the years to come, including home infusion. Many of the changes are driven by payers, advancements across technology, improved medical procedures, new prescription medicines, as well as labor shortages, and supply chain issues which result an overall increase in healthcare costs. To maintain continued growth and success in home infusion, a home infusion company adjusted their model of care. To assure success, change management, transitioning process, employee retention, and patient outcomes were all evaluated during this model transition.
