Provide a setting similar to the Sterile Compounding Clinic where attendees have the opportunity for hands-on experience with common compounding supplies. Activity will include guidance from experienced compounding technicians.

Learning Objectives

  • Conduct aseptic technique manipulations in a manner to maintain sterility of products.
  • Understand complex manipulations and efficiencies to ensure proper oversight of compounding personnel.
  • Identify non-traditional compounding supplies and how they can be used to minimize compounder injury, compounding time, and/or CSP contamination.
