38. Designated Person's Responsibility in Certifications

Now you are assigned as a designated person, or you have now assigned a designated person; what does that look like as it pertains to cleanroom suite certification? It can be easy to deal with certifications as a DP when things are going good and everything passes, but what do you do with that information? Furthermore, what does the designated person do when something doesn’t go as planned? Knowing what to do when you see trends can save you time, money, and most of all, frustration.

Learning Objectives

  • Describe responsibilities of the designated person as it pertains to cleanroom suite certifications.
  • Review how to turn the information from your certification reports into a trend and use that information for the positive, not just the negative.
  • Provide guidance and best practices for what to do when something, during the certification report, doesn’t pass or isn’t where your facility wants it to be.
