31. Billing Medicare-Covered Therapies and the HIT Benefit

In this session, we will discuss the services that are covered under Medicare Part B. This includes some nuances such as subcutaneous IG is covered under 1 LCD and IVIG is covered under another. We will also review what is covered under the HIT benefit and which providers can bill for these services. It is important that you become familiar with the coverage criteria and details as Medicare advantage plans are slowly moving to the same billing methodology.
