Infusion Experience
The interactive experience is designed to guide healthcare professionals through the process of conducting an internal audit of a home and an ambulatory infusion suite. Participants will have the opportunity to walk through multiple stations that identify deficiencies and corresponding accreditation standards and guidelines for environmental, infection control, and patient and staff safety.

Real-World Deficiency Scenarios
Participants will engage in an immersive experience, where they will learn how to observe the ambulatory suite and a home for common deficiencies in patient safety, environmental hazards, infection control, and medication safety.

Application of Standards and Best Practices
Participants will identify differences between standards and best practices in accordance with accreditation and regulatory bodies.

Staff Competency and Training
Participants will be able to identify ongoing clinical competencies needed to ensure that clinicians are well-prepared to provide safe and effective care in regard to common deficiencies.

Participants will have an opportunity to engage subject matter experts in clinical challenges, standards of care, and best practices encountered during real-life audits.
By the end of the experience, participants will be informed with knowledge of the most common ambulatory infusion suite and home environment deficiencies, corresponding standards, best practices, and clinical competence needed to ensure the highest level of patient care and safety are met.
