Infusion Suite Experience NEW!
The interactive experience is designed to guide healthcare professionals through the process of conducting an internal audit of an ambulatory infusion suite. Participants will have the opportunity to walk through multiple stations that identify deficiencies and corresponding accreditation standards and guidelines for environmental, infection control, and patient and staff safety in the ambulatory infusion setting.

Participants will engage in an immersive experience, where they will learn how to observe the ambulatory suite for common deficiencies in patient safety, environmental hazards, infection control, and medication safety.

Participants will identify differences between standards and best practices in accordance with accreditation and regulatory bodies.

Participants will be able to identify ongoing clinical competencies needed to ensure that clinicians are well-prepared to provide safe and effective care in regard to common deficiencies.

Learn techniques for gathering patient feedback and incorporating it into the audit process to ensure a patient-centered approach to care.

Participants will have an opportunity to engage subject matter experts in clinical challenges, standards of practice, and best practices encountered during real-life audits.
By the end of the experience, participants will be informed with knowledge of the most common ambulatory infusion suite deficiencies, corresponding standards, best practices, and clinical competence needed to ensure the highest level of patient care and safety are met.
